Tampa played in Boston last night. They have games against Nashville and Boston again on deck after this one. This is a Bolts’ team that wanted to make the playoffs so badly this year that they came out flying out of the gate and never looked back. They peaked in October and November and have now been waiting two years for the playoffs. A game in New York after playing Boston means jack. A game on New York with the playoffs so close means jack. This team is ready for the playoffs to begin already.

For the Rangers, this game means a lot to Vladislav Namestnikov, who was one of the pieces in the Ryan McDonagh trade. Aside from that, the Rags got a whole lot more from the Bolts and New York figures to bring lots of intensity here in a game that we’re suggesting the Rags want more than the Bolts. Tampa has looked disinterested in so many games over the past couple of weeks and this is another one that has that same feel. When not taken seriously, the Rangers are big trouble because of their scoring ability. They can roll out any one of four lines with firepower but aside from that, we absolutely love the spot the Rags are in here.
