Second Round of NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament - Taco Bell Arena - Boise, Idaho

4:05 PM EST. OT included. The Kings are one of those seven teams we have been referring to that are batting for one of three playoff spots in the West but man, is this Kings’ team beatable. L.A. has gone 6-4 over its last 10 games but two of those victories were against a suddenly reeling Vegas squad and two others came over Vancouver and Detroit respectively in L.A’s last two wins. In between those two wins, they were down 3-0 to Arizona and lost 4-3. The Kings have recent losses to St. Louis (7-2), Chicago (5-3), Arizona (4-3) and Edmonton (4-3) and that’s a lot of goals allowed. Losing to the Blues 7-2 is not easy either. The Kings rank a lousy 25th in 5v5 Score and Adjusted Corsi For % over the past five weeks.

We played the Devils in Nashville and Vegas and we’re not about to jump off just yet. For whatever reason, the Devils are not getting the market respect they deserve. The Devils are a speedy, dangerous team that is gaining confidence with each passing game. They have star power, they have balance and they’re getting tremendous goaltending from Keith Kinkaid, who figures to be in net again for this one. New Jersey has a 6-2-0 record over their past eight road contests. They have some outstanding road wins this year that include wins in Toronto, Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay. They’re the superior team here taking back a price and if we lose, so be it because we know we’re going with the best of it.
