Houston +150 over Seattle

10:00 PM ET. Seattle at home used to mean something. It used to be noise, chaos, and fear for visiting teams. Not anymore. These days, Lumen Field is where confidence goes to die. The Seahawks are 4-2 overall but just 1-2 at home this season after going 3-6 there last year. That’s 4-8 in their last 12 games in the supposed “12th man” building. Whatever edge they once had has evaporated, replaced by a team that plays tighter in its own stadium than it does 2,000 miles away.

Seattle’s defense looked great last week against Jacksonville, sacking Trevor Lawrence seven times and holding the Jags to 273 total yards. But the Jags also have one of the league’s worst offensive lines, and Seattle still needed every inch to hang on. This team has developed a nasty habit of blowing late leads and barely surviving inferior opponents. Now they’re being priced like a reliable home favorite against a rested, ascending Houston squad that’s built to expose that inconsistency.

The Texans come off a bye, having outscored Tennessee and Baltimore by a combined 70–10 in their last two games. That’s not a typo. They held Baltimore’s offense — with Lamar Jackson — to 10 points in their own stadium. C.J. Stroud is settling into full command of the offense, and he’s making it look effortless. In that rout of Baltimore, Stroud threw for four touchdowns and was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week. This team plays fast, physical, and with purpose — three traits that have been missing from Seattle’s home efforts.

Houston’s defense is no joke either. They hit hard, tackle clean, and swarm to the football. They’re second in the league in yards per play allowed and first in defensive third-down conversion rate. They play with a level of collective buy-in that’s become DeMeco Ryans’ calling card. This is not the same old Texans team that’s just happy to compete — it’s one that expects to win.
