NFL Divisional Round

Los Angeles Rams +6½ over Philadelphia

3:00 PM ET. The narrative around this game will likely focus on the Eagles’ dominance. They're coming off a decisive win over Green Bay, have won 13 of their last 14, and thoroughly embarrassed these same Rams in Week 12. The Eagles’ strength lies in their ability to control games with their rushing attack, but L.A. knows exactly what’s coming. You can bet the Rams have been watching Barkley’s video-game numbers on repeat since that loss.

The Rams arrive in Philadelphia playing their best football of the season. Their 27-9 dismantling of Minnesota was no fluke. L.A.’s defense was relentless, recording nine sacks and completely neutralizing the Vikings’ offense. Yes, their run defense is a weak spot, but they’ve shown the ability to scheme effectively and adapt. The Rams’ ability to pressure Jalen Hurts will be pivotal, as Hurts has struggled to stretch the field since returning from concussion protocol.

Philly is being priced like a juggernaut, but this is a team that hasn’t been as sharp as its record suggests. Their recent wins have come against flawed competition, and their reliance on turnovers to generate separation is not sustainable. The Rams, on the other hand, are peaking at the right time, covering six of their last seven games. Asking the Eagles to win by a touchdown against an L.A. team that has quietly found its groove is a tall order.

Recency bias will have the market leaning heavily toward Philly after their 22-10 handling of the Packers, but a deeper dive into that game paints a less flattering picture. Hurts passed for just 131 yards. The Eagles benefited from four Green Bay turnovers and a stagnant Packers offense. Philly’s win felt more like survival than dominance, and the cracks in their offense post-Week 12 have been tough to ignore. Taking back inflated points, the Rams are too good to pass up.
