1:00 PM EST. We originally had the Jags at -1½ but that number has been hammered to -3 this morning by a market that had many of the same sentiments we had going in. That being that it was time to fade the Saints after some impressive showing without Drew Brees.

What we’re seeing here is likely an overreaction Alvin Kamara’s ankle injury. Dude was added to the injury report after a limited practice on Thursday and then was held out on Friday. He is still expected to play but may be limited or could surprise on Sunday and be out since not much is known about his ankle. Take away Kamara from Teddy (Wobbly Balls) Bridgewater’s arsenal and we understand why the market has reacted. 

The 4-1 Saints are 1-1 on the road and on a three-game winning streak. The 2-3 Jaguars had each loss happen by a touchdown or less and are 1-1 at home. The Jaguars keep getting close and the Saints winning-streak begs to be broken. The market has spoken up loud and clear and when said market jumps off a team in abundance like we’re seeing here, that’s our cue to move in.
