Week 3 Survivor Pick

In Survivor, you have to pick a straight up winner every week. The last man standing likely has to go all 16 weeks without a loser to win or split the pool. What if one were to take $50, or whatever amount you choose and bet one team STRAIGHT UP each week for the remaining 16 weeks. All winnings are parlayed onto the next week. Well, we tried that last year and lost in Week 7. This year, we are back at it. We’ll rollover each weeks winnings onto a straight up winner the following week. We also have the luxury of playing the same team more than once and also the luxury of making our bet on Sunday as opposed to Thursday or Friday as most Survivor pools require. 

Week 3  pick – Cowboys straight up

We have $73.94 to invest on the Cowboys this week and feel rather safe about it. Of course, we would never recommend betting a 30-1 favorite but this is different. This is our Survivor. We’re merely pointing out that playing it this way is probably better than getting into a SURVIVOR pool because if we can last 16 weeks, the payout could be large and we have the luxuries that Survivor poolies do not. We have zero restrictions on time or teams with our only goal being to survive.
