Saturday, 8:20 PM EST. Before we elaborate, let us make one thing very clear. We don’t like the Ravens (as a team) and we trust that Lamar Jackson is pure garbage and we’re going to find a great spot to fade these imposters but this isn’t it. Lamar Jackson chugs along with never more than 180 passing yards in any game. He's thrown for four touchdowns and rushed in two others but never completed more than 14 passes (!) in any game. Jackson brings a very different style of offense than any other team in the NFL and the market doesn’t like it or buy it. We don’t either but X’s and O’s are not our business. In fact, we’re going to plug our noses and get behind the Ravens here because it is the prudent thing to do simply because the Chargers stock is way too high. We’re in the buy low/sell high business and therefore the Bolts must be sold after their enormous and resonating come from behind win over the Chiefs on Thursday Night Football.

It was a 15-point comeback in the final 3:49 at Kansas City that pulled off the upset and makes the Chargers tied for the No. 1 seed and AFC West. The final two games are not slam dunks but will see the Chargers favored in both. The Chargers not only have beaten the Seahawks, Steelers and Chiefs recently, they did all three in their stadiums, not at home. They cannot be called a dark horse any longer. To add fuel to this sizzling fire, Melvin Gordon returns this week and that makes the Chargers a better team than it was already perceived to be. The last two times we saw the Chargers in prime time was last week’s defining win over the Chiefs and two weeks ago in Pittsburgh when they absolutely annihilated the Steelers in the second half. Yes indeed, the Bolts have had great market exposure recently and will appear in prime time again here, only this time, one will pay to get behind them. That is something that is not in our wheelhouse and while the price may appear a very reasonable one to spot, we’re suggesting that it’s not. Even though the Bolts need this game in its quest to become the #1 seed in the AFC, it comes after a season defining win that was as satisfactory as any they’ve had in a very long time. The Ravens are not the team to be facing after such an emotional win and run because they can keep it close and are almost surely to be in a position to win this one outright. Watch the Bolts exhale and then watch the Ravens walk right through that window of opportunity. Ravens outright.
