4:30 PM EST. The Jets snapped a six-game losing streak last Sunday against the Bills after Buffalo opened as a -3½ favorite and closed as a 4½-point favorite. Still, Buffalo jumped out to a quick 14-3 lead and looked to be well on their way to an easy win and cover, especially after it appeared as though Sam Darnold re-injured himself before halftime. Buffalo dominated the stat sheet by out-gaining the Jets, 368-248 and the Bills also held a big time of possession edge. If you watched the Jets, they didn’t impress and prior, they had lost five in a row. New York’s low stock remains low.

Houston's nine-game winning streak came to an abrupt end last week to the Colts. While it might be easier to jump right back on the Texans after they appear to take a big step down in competition here, we have to wonder what their mindset will be after finally losing a game. Houston has a two-game lead over both Indy and the Titans for the AFC South title with three games to play. The Texans appear to have an easy road to the playoffs with matchups against a trio of teams (@ Jets, @ Eagles, Jaguars) that are all sporting losing records and oddsmakers agree, as they are a -6600 favorite to take the South. However, the role of spoiler is one to be relished and for the Texans, losing that game last Sunday might have done some real damage, as the team could exhale after over two months straight of winning in a league that is not set up for such a run with parity, penalty flags and turnovers ruling the day. You have to get a lot of bounces to win nine games in a row and the Texans certainly did that with four of those victories coming by a field goal or less and a 20-13 win over the Bills was surely going to be a loss before Josh Allen was hurt and Buffalo got "Peterman'd". This is the largest number the Texans have been asked to spot on the road this season and even if no air has been let out of their tires, the Texans are going to have to be sharp to cash this ticket for its backers. On a short week and traveling to a much colder climate, If Houston exhales for even a minute, this is a game the Jets can win outright.
