1:00 PM EST. It doesn't take long for the media and the market to warm up to the Steelers and after winning three straight games, the Black and Gold are right back at the top of the AFC North perch, which is a place many people picked them to finish. You'll hear this week that the Steelers defense is "back" and how running back, James Conner is making fans "forget" about Le'Veon Bell. The third round runner from Pitt was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month and while we understand the NFL news cycle never ends, it wasn't that long ago that the Steelers were being written off for dead after they were embarrassed at home to division rival Baltimore in Week 4. Since then, both of these clubs have been trending in opposite directions which could provide us with some great value.

So let us get this straight. Last week, the Ravens were spotting nearly a field goal on the road in Carolina, but now they’re a similar price at home to these Steelers? Either the oddsmakers have greatly undervalued the Ravens or they’re giving way too much respect to the visitors. We're willing to bet it's the former after the Steelers took apart the Browns 33-18, while the Ravens were blown out by double digits in the Queen City. The highly touted Baltimore defense has taken its lumps after giving up touchdowns on the first four drives of that game, but even despite that relatively poor outing, the Ravens still rank third in defensive DVOA. That slow start has been criticized greatly, as it came on the heels of a brutal fourth quarter collapse that saw Baltimore fall 24-23 to the Saints in Week 7. The Ravens standing in the market has taken a huge tumble since they last played beat the Steelers 26-14 in a game that wasn’t that close, as the Ravens outgained Pittsburgh by 167 yards, put up 24 first downs to 10 and owned the clock by over 11 minutes. It was a high profile contest on SNF and Baltimore came out of that game overvalued, as many teams do after a big win in front of the football world, but now, its price correction has been far too severe. The Ravens are a great buy-low candidate both this week and in the futures market and it’s also worth noting that Baltimore is such a better team at home than they are on the road.
