This is a battle of two garbage teams that are both 3-8. A focal point is Ohio’s rushing attack (37th in the country) against BGSU’s 110th-ranked rush defense. Aside from X’s and O’s meaning jack, what fails to be mentioned is that Ohio’s defense is worse considerably, as they rank 107th overall in total defense and they are 114th against the run giving up over 200 yards per game. Would you really want to be laying points with a team like this on the road? Bowling Green has played and beaten better teams than Ohio: at Minnesota most comes to mind; they also played with Tennessee for a half. Ohio’s best wins were against Eastern Michigan and Miami Ohio and now this team is favored in Bowling Green by a significant margin because why?
