10:00 PM EST. We cannot for the life of us figure out what Colorado State has done in the early going to get this kind of respect. We faded the Rams in Week 1 and they did not disappoint by getting Molly whopped by South Dakota State to the tune of 42-23. The Rams were embarrassed on their home field and head coach Steve Addazio already sounds like he's looking to next year, "Big picture, I'm trying to build and develop a really strong foundational program that's here to last. I told our team we've got our backs up against the wall, and when I've got my back up against the wall, I'm coming out swinging." Thanks for the confidence boost, coach.

The reason the Rams are favored in this range likely has much more to do with Vanderbilt and its flunking and home against East Tennessee State. When one schedules a game against a team like ETSU, one is trying to "warm-up" with a cakewalk and an easy Week 1 winner. Oops, nobody told that to the Buccaneers, who punched the Commodores right in the fucking mouth to the tune of 23-3. How many more invitations to play SEC schools do you think ETSU is going to get moving forward? When a 21-point SEC favorite loses by 20 at home and scores just three points, it is going to resonate in a big way. The market has spoken. The Commodores look like low-hanging fruit. Fortunately for us, the Rams are likely worse. What would this line have been if Vandy had taken care of business as expected? Would they be favored? Perhaps not, but it's not out of the question. It certainly wouldn't be taking back an inflated price like the one posted here, which is our prompt to move in.
