If we were to throw in historic pedigrees, the Eagles are traditionally a power in the Sun Belt Conference. However, GSU has suffered some down seasons since some NFL talent departed Statesboro. Now, the Eagles seemed to have revived their program and topping a ranked opponent not only gives them an edge in the conference race but also adds credibility to the acclaim that Eagles football is back. While this may be worth a peek on the money line perhaps, there is plenty of equity in sticking with the points here, as there are plenty on the table.
