7:00 PM EST. Auburn is 19-2 and the No. 10 team in the nation, yet they are taking back a price against an unranked foe. We doubt we were the only ones who did a double-take on this game. On the surface, it's hard not to back a top-10 team when getting plus money to do so, but a closer look shows that this might be a tough spot for Auburn. In their last game, the Tigers beat perennial SEC power and No. 15 ranked Kentucky at home on Saturday by a 75-66 score. In its next game, Auburn will host No. 18 LSU. That's two straight home games against ranked SEC competition. The Tigers need this one-off weekday trip to Fayetteville like they need a hole in the head.

Sometimes the line tells you all you need to know about the play and we suspect that oddsmakers expect big things from the Razorbacks tonight. At 16-5, Arkansas is no slouch, but with the SEC loaded with talented schools, the Razorbacks are an afterthought. However, they are very much in the hunt for an at-large bid and the ticket to The Big Dance that comes with it. A win over a top-10 team would be a signature victory, which is an opportunity that is not likely to be lost on an Eric Musselman coached team. The Razorbacks have the horses to compete too, as junior guard Mason Jones leads the SEC in scoring at nearly 20 points per game (19.8). The Razorbacks figure to be live and motivated to build their résumé on the back of a conference rival. The situation says so and so does the line.
