While that win was indeed impressive, VCU had already punched its ticket to the Big Dance and its effort showed. The Bonnies notably missed their first six shots of that game, but didn’t look back after that. St. Bonaventure finished with fewer wins overall than Rhode Island, but it also played a tougher non-conference schedule that ranked 31 spots higher than the Rams on KenPom. The Bonnies are also ranked nine spots higher on that websites Adjusted Efficiency Margin, which grades every Division I program. The Bonnies pride themselves on defense and have shut down their last nine opponents and held them to under 40 percent shooting. Finally, let’s concentrate on the market or what we like to call market inefficiencies.
