7:00 PM EST. This is just one of those games that looks too easy. The Tigers and Bulldogs played last Wednesday in Athens and Missouri handed Georgia one of its worst losses of the season in a 25-point drubbing. The Bulldogs would then follow that game with a resounding defeat in South Carolina to the Gamecocks 66-46. Finishing the season losing 15 of their last 16 games with a pair of lopsided losses to close out the campaign isn't likely to inspire much confidence in the 11-win Dawgs, but they are a tougher out than advertised. Georgia did beat a damn good Florida team 61-55 in Gainesville on March 2 and it dropped close games to Auburn (78-75), Ole Miss (72-71), Mississippi State (68-67) and LSU (83-79) the five-games prior before getting blasted to end the year.

The Tigers went 2-3 to finish their season and if that blowout of these Bulldogs isn't enough to drive the market to back them at what looks like a short price today, their 78-63 thumping of South Carolina might. That both of these teams played the Gamecocks in their final two games and produced such different results also helps to make a case for Mizzou, but rarely is it that easy. Before that modest two-game winning streak, the Tigers were blown out by Miss State (68-49), dropped a 64-60 decision at Florida, two teams that Georgia fared better against. If the Tigers win going away easy today then so be it, but the Bulldogs are a live pooch in this spot and will probably win this one outright. Missouri is a weak outfit.
