While the Red Raiders are 3-0 to start Big 12 play, they did not cover in games against West Virginia and Kansas State and pushed as seven point chalk against the Sooners on Tuesday night. That win in Norman looks excellent on paper, but Tech was down late in the second half and needed at 15-8 run over the final eight minutes to seal the deal. The Red Raiders are going to have some market appeal here, as they are a ranked team taking back a price against unranked competition, but do not be fooled by that aesthetic. This has been a bad spot for Tech, as it has not won in Austin in almost 23 years. Unlike the Red Raiders, Texas has played a difficult schedule worthy of a top team (24th) and we now get them a true bargain.
