Possessions become more valuable. Oklahoma City already accomplished its primary objective by stealing back home-court advantage. San Antonio now faces a virtual must-win situation. That typically leads to increased defensive intensity and fewer easy transition opportunities.

The public sees three straight overs and expects a fourth. The oddsmakers know that. That's why they've continued pushing this number upward despite injuries and a series that is becoming increasingly physical. We'll take the other side. The number is now pricing in continued offensive fireworks. We're betting the market has finally overreacted.
