3:00 PM ET. There’s no denying that Atlanta has had New York’s number recently. The Hawks have won three straight against the Knicks, including both meetings this season, each as a significant underdog. That history, coupled with Trae Young’s emergence as a bonafide Knicks villain, sets up a narrative that the market loves to latch onto. However, sports betting is about identifying opportunities where the narrative diverges from reality, and this is one of those spots.

The Knicks are laying their highest number to Atlanta in recent memory, despite losing the previous two games against them outright as favorites. That’s no accident.
