7:30 PM EST. We went under the total in Game 5, but ripped up that ticket as these two teams went over the posted total for the third time in four games in this series and two games in a row. The hometown Heat have now seen all but two of their 10 2023 playoff games go over.

7:10 PM EST. In Game 5, the Heat saw their hot shooting go cold with a series low 42% from the field and 30% from downtown. Prior to going cold in New York, the Heat were shooting 49% of their field goals and 38%. Can Miami get its touch from range, or anywhere else for that matter tonight? Of course, however, this is another close out game, but now all the pressure is on the Heat to finish on their home court as a better than two possession favorite.

The Knicks had their best shooting game of the series on Wednesday night, while the Heat had their worst, so it’s no surprise the Knicks won that game 112-103. However, there are also no guarantees that New York will stay hot. Hell, prior to the last game, everyone from Stephen A. Smith to Michael Rapaport to the masses on Twitter were ready to write the Knicks off from the GM, to the head coach, to the last man on the bench, One could back the Knicks taking back the points today in the always tough close-out game, but the value on that ship may have sailed in New York now that the Knicks have some life. Instead, we are going to “stick with it,” and come right back and bet this game to go under.
