L.A. LAKERS -6½ over Phoenix

10:05 PM EST. If we were in the prediction business, it would be very difficult to pass up on the points being offered to Chris Paul and the Suns. It’s almost impossible to pull the trigger on the Lakers spotting this elite opponent a significant amount of points in the postseason. We went through the entire season to try and find the last time the Suns were being offered this many points and we couldn’t find one instance because there weren’t any. That’s right, the most points the Suns were offered this entire year was +6 when they went into L.A. to play the Clippers back on April 8th. All year, Phoenix was a team spotting points almost every game and often they were a double-digit favorite and now they’re being offered more points than they have all season. We cannot even begin to explain how tempting it is to grab the points. Hell, we’re pretty sure a bunch of you already grabbed the points because they looked so appetizing.

We’re not going to break it down much more. This wager is all about what the line is telling us to do. In this case, the offering on Phoenix is too great to pass up for an unsuspecting market. In other words, we’ve all heard the old saying….If it’s too good to be true.....This is one is all about being on the same side as the books.
