TORONTO -10½ over Oklahoma City

7:10 PM EST. The Raptors’ 113-103 loss at OKC on Mar. 31 should have disqualified them from making the postseason. OKC had lost three straight before that, by 9, 17 and 21 points, and have since lost nine straight afterwards, most of them blowouts. No matter who may have been missing for Toronto that night, there is/was no excuse for having been out-rebounded 64-35, 19-7 on the offensive glass by the Horford-and Alexander-less Thunder. While we are not supporters of the “revenge angle”, there are exceptions to every rule and this case, Toronto must absolutely respond to something so embarrassing. The Raps were ripped apart in the media by their performance that night against OKC and now there is only one thing left to do. The Thunder, shot in its usual range – 40.2% to lose again the other night at what was basically a mystery team fielded by Detroit. It’s also worth noting that the Thunder play against Russell Westbrook and the Wiz tomorrow in Washington so this stop is nothing more than a massive inconvenience in a season lost and full of embarrassing losses. What’s one more?
