With some key injuries on both sides (Zion Williamson for the Pelican and Blake Griffin for the Pistons), it might be easy to target this game to come in well under the posted total, but we don't see it that way. Sure, the Pelicans were shut down by the Celtics last time out (140-105), but they posted point totals of 123, 123 and 126 in their three games prior against the Knicks, Bulls and Jazz respectively. The 'Cans take a big step down in competition here, which could see an increase in offensive production.

The Pistons have struggled to score as of late and posted team totals of less than 100 (99) in two of their last four games, including their 108-99 loss to the Bulls on Saturday, but that doesn't mean their shots won't fall tonight. Detroit's offence is undervalued and we are the beneficiary of a number lower than it should be.
