L.A. LAKERS -14 -102 over Cleveland

10:30 PM EST. The Lakers can do no wrong at the moment and it doesn't seem to matter who suits up in purple and gold. Without both LeBron James and Anthony Davis on Saturday night, the Lake Show rocked the red hot Thunder in OKC 125-110. That 15-point margin flattered the home side greatly, as L.A. posted 41 first quarter points to the Thunder's 19. The game prior, the Lakers posted 79 first half points and rolled over an improved Mavericks side by a 15-point margin as well (129-114). Now, the Lakers are being asked to spot a price in that same range against one of the weakest teams in the NBA.

There is not much that needs to be said about the Cavaliers, as they have returned to obscurity since #23 left town, again. Cleveland is currently made up of Kevin Love, Triston Thompson, Darius Garland and nine other dudes. Two of those three (Love and Thompson) have been discussed in trade talks and those swirling rumors often have a negative impact on a team. The NBA trade deadline is still three weeks away, but we would not blame both players for doing everything they can to graze on greener pastures. Maybe the Cavs fight to keep this one close tonight, but we're not sure they have the horses to do so even if they wanted to. LeBron enjoys sticking it to Cavs owner Dan Gilbert and gets highly motivated against Cleveland, which he only sees twice a year.
