6:05 PM EST. The Kings are at the end of their longest run of home games this season and we hope to catch them with one foot out the door tonight. Sacramento won the first three games of this homestand before dropping a 127-101 decision to the Rockets, but they rallied from double-digits to outlast the Heat 102-96 last time out. That win moved the Kings within striking distance of the eighth place Clippers for the final playoff spot and the right to get swept by the Warriors in round one. Miami is no world beater and that the Kings struggled with the Heat so mightily cannot be ignored. Sure, they won and covered in the end, but that most recent result combined with three other wins on this hometand has Sac-town’s price inflated here. We're not sure they should be favored in this range against anybody, even the Suns.

Phoenix has racked up 13 straight losses if you need them, but that will not stop us from backing the Suns in this situation. The Dubs lets the Suns hang around with them the other night before leaving the desert with a 117-107 win, but even if the Warriors didn't go all out, as they often don't, that is a moral victory for these Suns. Phoenix actually led that game by six with about eight minutes to go before Golden State turned up the heat and dictated the finish. Rookie center Deandre Ayton said after the game that, "We can compete, we can challenge any team. Don't mind our record, there's a lot of guys with a lot of great potential and we could actually make a dynasty team”. Whether that statement is true or not is another story altogether, but what matters is that Ayton and his teammates believe it. Despite the losses, the Suns appear to be chomping at the bit to get back on the floor after going toe-to-toe with the champs and they get to take a big step down in competition here. We're not going to pass up the chance to take back a pile of points like this in a game that Phoenix can absolutely win outright if the Kings are already thinking about their big game in Denver on Tuesday night and getting on the road after an extended stretch at home. Situational spots don’t get much better than this. Now add in the inflated points and the bet carries a ton of value. Don’t miss it.
