10:05 PM EST. Sometimes you just have to play the number and not the teams and this one fits into that narrative. We have to ask or wonder why the Raps are favored here. For one, Kawhi Leonard is out. Secondly, along with the Raptors, they are the only undefeated teams in the league. Third, the Bucks have been the most dominant team in basketball up until this point. Not the Raptors. Not the Warriors. Not the Knicks. It’s been the Bucks. Their net rating is by far the best in the league. Their defense under Mike Budenholzer so far has been the second best in the league, behind only the Celtics. On top of that, they’re shooting (and making) a ton of 3-pointers. This roster coupled with Bud’s system on both ends looks night and day compared to this team under Jason Kidd the last few seasons and now they’re an underdog at home? (!) Why?

We have no idea what’s going to happen here but we know for sure that Leonard’s absence will cause a market reaction. We also know that an undefeated team with legit stats to back it up is not supposed to be a dog at home, which is our prompt to step in. We suspect this number will drop closer to game time and if you are on board, we suggest to wait until later but either way, a play on the Raps is on the table because the line says so.
