Nicholas Dalby +110 over Tim Means

UFC VEGAS 30 - UFC Apex - Las Vegas, NV

4:35 PM EST. Tim Means has been around for a long, long time. Making his pro debut way back in 2004, the 37-year-old has had multiple stints in the UFC and 45 cage fights under his belt across all promotions. His most recent UFC run has easily been his best, as he's stuck around for over seven years after making his re-debut in May 2014. That was a loss to Neil Magny, but Means ripped off wins in six of his next seven fights over a two year span. To say dude was active would be to say a fat kid loves cake. While the results since have not been quite as positive, "The Dirty Bird" has not slowed in making that walk to the Octagon, as he's been one of the most durable fighters around. He is currently on a two-fight win streak, with wins coming over Laureano Strapoli and Mike Perry. Both were catchweight victories as both of those men failed to make weight. In reality, we like Tim Means just fine and enjoy watching him compete, however, this situation does not favor him.

Means was supposed to fight Danny Roberts last Saturday, but that fight was scrapped and nobody seems to know why. Now Means will step in and face Nicolas Dalby, who himself was set to face Sergey Khandozhko, but Khandozhko pulled out due to injury. While the matchmaking might not have been that well thought out, this draw appears to favor Dalby over Means, despite the price posted. Means is an aggressive strike first fighter. While Means is the bigger, lengthier man, "Lokomotivo" does his moniker justice. He's a full steam ahead, get inside and do damage kind of fighter. Sure, there is a chance he gets tagged, but if he doesn't go down, it could be a long night for the lankier Means, as he gets ground up into fight dust.
