Laureno Staropoli +127 over Roman Dolidze

8:45 PM EST. It might be easy to write off Laureno Staropoli after back to back losses in the Octagon, but that they came against a couple of tough veterans makes those defeats a little easier to digest. His last outing was a decision loss to Tim Means, which was a catchweight bout at 174.5 lbs after Staropoli missed weight. That bout was last August and sent him packing to the middleweight division. A fresh coat of paint at 185 lbs could be just what the fight doctor ordered.

Roman Dolidze is like a puppy who has big paws but has yet to grow into them. Dude has a unique skillset; we're just not quite sure where his strengths lie. He's a freaky athlete, no doubt, but his fight IQ leaves much to be desired. What the market might see here is the bigger, more athletic man spotting a small price and take the bait. We recommend wading carefully through those waters, as Dolidze has proven in the past that he cannot help himself. Dude might just try and go blow for blow with Staropoli, a Muay Thai specialist because he feels like it. Or Dolidze just might shoot for leg locks as he did against Trevin Giles and pay dearly for, as he did in that defeat. With Dolidze, you never know what you are going to get, which is why spotting a price with him is so dangerous. All the value in this fight is with the undersized underdog and we're not going to pass it up.
