UFC Fight Island 6 - Yas Island - Abu Dhabi, UAE

Brian Ortega +175 over Chang Sung Jung

Posted at 3:00 PM EST.

9:15 PM EST. We understand why Brian Ortega is the pooch here; we just disagree with it. Ortega is coming off a nearly two-year layoff, and in his last fight, he was stopped by then featherweight champion Max Holloway in that title bout. His next fight was scheduled to be against "The Korean Zombie" in December of 2019, but Ortega pulled out of that contest, citing a knee injury and he's been on the sidelines since. Further degrading Ortega's curb appeal is the fact that his coach, Rene Gracie, was not allowed to make the trip to Fight Island because he tested positive for COVID-19.

Chan Sung Jung is simply known as the "The Korean Zombie," and he's billed as such when the UFC promotes him. Jung is riding a two-fight win streak with four straight post-fight bonuses being sent his way by Uncle Dana. In fact, Zombie has taken home a bonus in seven of his last eight Octagon appearances, six of which were victories. Every time this dude is on your TV, he does something spectacular. That will make him a popular pick in this fight but now would appear like a good time to sell high. Just two fights ago, Jung was a toss-up against Renato Carneiro, who is not currently ranked. In his last fight against Edgar, Zombie was spotting a similar price to this and now he's facing the #2 contender. Layoff or not, that is not right. All of the value is on Ortega here and as far as we're concerned, this is his fight to lose.
