Charles Oliveira +129 over Kevin Lee

8:15 PM EST. While it might be easy to pick apart Charles Oliveira's six fight winning streak, it is hard to deny that a run of six straight finishes isn't of some value. As is "Do Bronx's" UFC record 13 submissions and the fact he cashed five Performance of the Night bonuses during his current run. If you fancy Oliveira as just a grappler, you can't ignore his knockout destruction of Jared Gordon last November at UFC Sao Paulo. Gordon, like the two fighters "Do Bronx" beat before him, all have a winning record in the UFC, so it's not like Oliviera is kicking around tomato cans. At 30, it appears that Oliviera is finally hitting his peak and he is in a great position here to move up the rankings with a win over a Top-10 fighter.

If it feels like Kevin Lee has been on the cusp of potential greatness for years, it's because he has. Lee made his UFC debut in 2014 and he hit his high 2½-years ago in his interim UFC Lightweight Championship loss to Tony Ferguson. In the time since, Lee is 2-2 with a win by way of a head kick KO over Gregor Gillespie coming in his last fight. It's hard not to be impressed with that performance, as it came after forgivable losses on paper to former champion Rafael dos Anjos and title contender Al Iaquinta, but we're not ready to jump on the bandwagon. Lee was totally outclassed in both of those defeats and his win over Gillespie was just his third knockout win in 23 fights. That is a ridiculous number when you consider Lee's talent and the hype surrounding him over the years. How Lee will respond if this fight goes to the later rounds should also be of great concern for a fighter that missed weight. Again. As the chalk, Lee is impossible to back because he is so unpredictable, while Oliviera has been as solid as they come. We have no reason to believe that should change tonight.
