Tonight’s co-main event is a barn burner between two of the hottest contenders in the 170-pound division with Curtis Millender putting his three-fight UFC win streak on the line against Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos. Before Millender came to the Octagon, he made his name with a pair of devastating head kick knockouts in the LFA. He then finished Thiago Alves in his UFC debut last February. In his last two fights, Millender has used his height and range to keep his distance, but "Curtious" (his spelling, not ours) might not have the success he did against Max Griffin and Siyar Bahadurzada, as his opponent today would rather fight in a phone booth than play the chase game.

Zaleski's UFC career didn't start as well as Millender’s, as he lost a decision to Nicolas Dalby, but in the six fights since, the Brazilian has been an absolute wrecker. Zaleski finished his last two fights in violent fashion by dropping Luigi Vendramini with a flying knee and Sean Strickland with a spinning wheel kick that led to the stoppage. It's hard to justify Zaleski being the dog in this fight, but Millender is American and has been making the media rounds, which has been great for his exposure, but also leads to him being overvalued in the market. They say matchups make fights and this is a bad one for "Curtious Curtis", as Elizeu Zaleski’s pressure is likely going to be too much for the favorite to deal with.
