10:00 PM EST. Cody Garbrandt is a proven commodity in the fight market after starting his career 11-0 and winning the Bantamweight Championship from legend Dominick Cruz at UFC 207. However, it's been a long time since "No Love" was last in the cage, as he's been out of action since his second loss to T.J. Dillashaw last August. As we saw a couple of weeks ago with Cain Velasquez, ring rust is real. Garbrandt is an "old" 27 when it comes to the fight game, as he started boxing when he was 15 and compiled an amateur record of 32-0. He fought in eight amateur MMA fights before going pro in 2012 and in that four years less a day; he had those first 11 fights. In the 2½-years since winning the title, Garbrandt has fought just twice, both TKO losses to his archrival Dillashaw. "No Love" made his bread and butter on short, devastating finishes to get his shot at the title, but now he has become the victim. Mindset is everything and we have a hard time spotting a price with anybody that could be lacking confidence and that killer instinct.

Pedro Munhoz is not the kind of fighter to back down, as his aggressive Muay Thai style can be hard to combat. Bryan Caraway was the last person to find that out after Munhoz crippled him with body and leg kicks forcing an untraditional TKO by way of body kick and punches. Munhoz also possesses arguably the best guillotine choke in the division and many of his 17 victories have come by that submission method. If we were to remove the past pedigree, fancy nicknames and neck tattoos, there is no way that Pedro Munhoz should be the pooch here. Garbrandt is a fan favorite, but he's nothing more than a stepping stone. We'll gladly take the better fighter with a tag and let the chips fall where they may.
