This play has more to do with getting behind the underachieving Marlins with one of the best arms in the business in Pablo Lopez (RHP - MIA). Lopez is enjoying a breakout season, which is why he brings much appeal as a home underdog. Lopez has a BB/K split of 8/36 in 36 frames to go along with an elite xERA of 3.19.

The Fish are just 2-8 in their last 10 games, but they may have turned a corner after a 1-9 run after knocking off the Diamondbacks 11-3. Baseball is a game of streaks and before that dismal run, the Marlins had a seven game winning streak on their early season résumé. They have been the streakiest team in the majors so let's hope another peak is here. Regardless, this is a great value play on an absolutely great chucker.
