7:05 PM EST. Little was expected of the Nationals in 2022, but a 10-21 start is still pretty rough. If you have not watched the Nats much this season, there have been some bright spots. Josiah Gray looks to be on his way to becoming a legit #1 pitcher and Washington has some pop in their bats.

A West Coast trip that saw the Nationals outscore the Giants 25-9 in their two wins of that three-game set showed what Washington can do when firing on all cylinders. The Nats are a team that is undervalued and a positive correction to their record figures to be coming.

With that in mind, we are going to dip our toes into the water and follow Washington for a six-game stretch and see how it goes. That will include their hosting of the Mets May 10-12 and Houston May 13-15. After that, we’ll reassess the situation and decide if we are going to move forward.
