Dude's xERA is an inflated 5.99, which is over a point higher than his surface number. His walks are up almost 1.5/B9 over last season (when he was in pitcher-friendly San Diego) and his strikeouts are down. Strip the B off Richards’ hat and he's just another back of the rotation plug but he’s not priced like it here.
