Washington +137 over SAN FRANCISCO

9:45 PM EST. We backed the Nats last night, and after their half of the fourth inning, we were feeling pretty good. It was 8-0 after all and Max was dealing. If you watched what unfolded after that, you know that a relief pitcher for San Diego, Daniel Camarena, a recent callup, hit a grand slam in his first at bat of the game. It was a tough pill to swallow, but it’s not going to deter us from coming right back on the Nationals, who are a team in the market that is sorely undervalued. Over its last 24 games, Washington is seeing the ball well with an OPS of .839 and a record of 16-8 over that span.

Paolo Espino (RHP - WAS) takes the mound for the Nats, but he is not really what matters here, as this play is twofold. The first is sticking with it while the second is fading Logan Webb (RHP - SF), who is making his first start since the end of May. Webb was on the IL with a shoulder strain. He's only pitched two innings since, in a start at Triple-A Sacramento, where he gave up a hit and run and walked a batter. It was thought he would see one more appearance last weekend for the River Cats, but he did not. Webb does not have a soft landing here against a Nats team that is playing great and with that in mind, the Giants can't be priced in this range with that cloud of uncertainty surrounding their starter.
