8:10 PM EST. J.A. Happ (LHP - MIN) has thrown three disasters in his past five starts and has a 7.13 ERA over the past month, as he faces the Tigers in Target Field. The Tigers have an .854 OPS over the past week, averaging almost 7 runs per game but the story is the same. The market does not respect the Tigers and that’s fine with us.

Tarik Skubal (LHP - DET) had one of his worst starts of the season in his last outing against the White Sox, as he allowed eight hits and five earned runs in 5 IP. It was the first time since May 14 that he had allowed more than three earned runs. However, Skubal is coming off another good month in June (3.14 ERA, 1.22 WHIP in 28 IP). His electric stuff was evident in his swinging strike rate (14.7%). The prices on the Tigers, and Skubal for that matter, keep coming in and so we’re just going to keep pulling the trigger until the market catches up or until it stops paying off.
