8:40 PM EST. Trevor Williams (RHP - PIT) has thrown four disaster games in his past five starts, and he now has the difficult task of facing the Rockies in Coors Field. Williams has actually been passable on the road with a 4.58 ERA, but Coors has not been part of that equation. The Rockies are monsters at home, with an OPS of .894 that leads the majors and is a full 30 points ahead of second place Boston. We care not because it’s Coors and the numbers are skewed. We’d also take the Pirates offense 100% of the time against Colorado’s and we’d take Pittsburgh’s starter 100% of the time against Colorado’s stiff.

Alex Gonzalez (RHP - COL), Chi Chi Gonzalez or whatever he wants to be called is among the very last starters you want to put your money on and you can triple that sentiment at this park. In 35 innings this year, Gonzalez has walked 21 and struck out 20. In his last outing, he walked six and struck out two. He has a 2.08 WHIP and even worse WHIP when pitching at Coors. Now throw in a 5% swing & miss rate, a 7.45 xERA and the fact that the Rockies don’t give a flying f**k, and we’ll take our chances with the Pirates.
