However, there are some good spots still and we trust this one is a good one for the host. You see, the Mariners have had a miserable year and just finished a home set with the Yankees in front of some of the bigger crowds they have seen this year. Naturally, the M’s were jacked up for that set and now have to travel to scorching hot Texas to play a nothing series. We don’t trust Seattle’s motivation here one bit and we also don’t trust Felix Hernandez (RHP - SEA). 

King Felix returned to the Mariners rotation on August 24, after being sidelined since May 11 with shoulder soreness. While the results looked decent, as he allowed two runs in 5.2 innings, it was a weak performance with balls constantly being hit hard. He'll now face the Rangers at Texas. The Rangers have hit quite well at home, with a .799 OPS that ranks 5th in the AL. Hernandez has struggled on the road with an 8.44 ERA in five starts and his decline is in high gear.

Lance Lynn (RHP - TEX) is taking his regular dominance against same-sided batters to a whole new level in 2019. His skills vR are firmly elite: 12.5 K’s/9, 1.8 BB’s/9, 46% grounders and a 2.89 xERA. Lynn has been dealing it all year and steps into this favorable spot with a great chance to win and dominate.
