7:20 PM EST. Whatever was ailing Nick Pivetta (RHP - PHI) back in March and April seems to have been helped by his return to Triple-A. Since coming back to the majors, Pivetta has a 1.80 ERA, 9.5 K’s/9 and just two walks issued over his last 20 innings. Pivetta shut down the Dodgers two starts ago with six innings pitched, three hits and zero earned runs allowed. Since his return he also has a 13% swing & miss rate, and a 2.73 xERA. He gave up four earned runs over 4.2 innings when he faced the Braves back on March 30th but that was then and this is now. Nick Pivetta is underpriced here to be sure.

Max Fried (LHP - ATL) has been knocked around a bit of late (4.55 ERA last 31 innings). His strong platoon split (.556 oOPS vL this year, 0 HR allowed) should help him contain Bryce Harper and Jay Bruce, but righties have been doing damage against him, especially in his last few starts. Rhys Hoskins and the other Philadelphia right-handed bats more than compensate should Harper go 0-4. Harper could also go 3 for 4 ya know. One last note here is that Fried has been really good with no runners on base but when he pitches from the stretch (with runners on), he’s been awful so when Philadelphia has runners on, Fried is likely to run into trouble.
