8:10 PM EST. Glenn Sparkman (RHP - KC) is lined up to make his second start of the year after seven relief appearances. Sparkman has been solid, although a fortunate hit-rate helped over his recent relief turns. Sparkman is a starter by heart and was very good in a May 1 start against Tampa Bay. He catches the White Sox on a down note: Chicago owns a .656 OPS with the highest swing & miss rate over the last two weeks. Sparkman is not our target here however. This wager is about fading a starter whenever he’s favored because his chances of losing are far greater than his chances of winning.  

Reynaldo Lopez (RHP - CHW) has not been in good form at all. Lopez is coming off a disaster start and has registered a 5.78 xERA over his last five starts. Enter the Kansas City Royals, an above-average offense against RHPs (.775 OPS) and one that has clubbed the Chicago righty in the past (.843 OPS) Lopez has an alarming 27%/54% groundball/fly-ball split that does figure to play well at this park.
