Derek Holland (LHP - SF) will come off the 10-day DL to make his seventh start of the year. Holland was dealing it with 40 K’s in 32 frames before going on the DL (bone bruise, left index finger) and we’re thrilled to get him at this price. Last year, Holland had a surprising bounce-back season too so his sample size of thriving is getting larger all the time. He dominated lefties as in salad days, and righties didn't kill him either. In fact, you don't have to squint hard for this to look a lot like pre-2014, pre-knee-injury skills, including best K rate of his career. Dude is very capable.

Kyle Freeland (LHP - COL) has thrown two consecutive poor games and he'll try to right the ship against San Francisco in Coors Field. Freeland has struggled in Coors, allowing 15 earned runs in 17 innings over three starts but the Giants have struggled against LHP, with an OPS near .600, and they have been below average on the road, ranking 11th in the NL. But this is Coors Field, and the Giants put up nine runs on Tuesday night, once again proving that the Coors Field angle is very worthy of consideration.
