8:40 PM EST. The “Coors Field” angle is in play for this one after the Rockies dropped a 10-9 decision to the Diamondbacks last night. With runs being scored at a high clip, we see no reason to not "stick with it" here.

As for tonight's starters, Kyle Freeland (LHP - COL) is 2-4 this season with an ERA of 4.81 and he's coming off a six-run, six-hit outing against the Brewers in his last start. Freeland gave up four runs in the first inning of that game, but then did sit down the next 10 hitters he faced. That was Freeland's first start after spending time on the 10-day injured list with a blister. The lefty has dropped four of his last five trips to the bump. He has extreme righty/lefty splits, as he's mowing down batters on the right side (.176) while struggling mightily with hitters from the left side of the dish (.407).

Luke Weaver (RHP - ARI) will toe the slab for the Snakes tonight after pitching a no-decision against the Cubs in his last start. The 25-year-old had been impressive as of late, as he's walked just three batters in his last four turns. Over his previous 31 1/3 innings, Weaver has punched out 36 hitters to only seven free passes. The righty starter came over to Arizona in the Paul Goldschmidt trade and he's pitched well in his new uniform posting a 2-1 record with a 3.73 ERA. Weaver has struggled in the past at Coors Field, but we're not going to worry about that, as we're just playing the park and taking back the bigger price with Arizona.
