7:35 PM EST. This wager on the Marlins is worth a bet. You see, the Braves have won the first two games of this series in rather easy fashion so we’re going to question their focus here with a big series in Washington on deck. Furthermore, it’s not like Atlanta’s pitching has shut down the Marlins, as Miami has belted out 20 hits and nine runs over the first two games of this series. Miami will now face Anibal Sanchez and while Sanchez is enjoying a career renaissance of sorts, he’s still very prone to giving up jacks, which gives us a legit shot of cashing this ticket. Sanchez has been tagged for three jacks in his last 12 innings. He has a MLB-worst 1.8/HR’s per nine since 2014. Sanchez has decent supported numbers this year but he also has a four-year history of inconsistency and thus, a blow-up or few could come at any time.

This market, including us, are not very familiar with Pablo Lopez (RHP) so we dug under the surface to see what’s up with this starter. Lopez lacks much of a prospect pedigree, but his ability to throw strikes in the minors has carried over to the majors in his five starts with Miami. Indeed, Lopez is throwing strikes with 8 K’s/9 and he’s also inducing ground outs and an elite 57% rate. Digging deeper, he's missing bats at a solid rate (11%) and throwing tons of strikes (68% first-pitch strike rate - 32% ball%). While Lopez doesn't have the exposure of many other young starters, he carries some sneaky potential down the stretch with his 3.84 xERA and in this spot against what may be a complacent and looking ahead Braves’ squad, we’ll roll the dice with the Fish and Lopez.

PLEASE NOTE: One of the unique things about our website is that we provide write-ups every single day on every game we post. We’re not sure if everyone understands how time consuming that is and how difficult it is as well but if you do not, please try it one day and you’ll see.

That said, we’re not going to change that. We’ll have write-ups every single day like we always do but we’re also going to have another feature. You see, we post our games usually in the early afternoon or before 1:00 PM EST but there is a lot of movement and other intangibles that occur throughout the day that has influence on what we’re betting. Usually after 6:00 PM EST or thereabouts, we’re going to be adding other games that we’re betting on in a section called “add-ons” for today that we ARE NOT going to write up because it’s too time consuming and with an hour or less before the first game goes off, we just won’t have the time.

This is a feature that you will see on our home page with the other wagers and we’ll also tweet it out when our add-ons have been posted.
