10:00 PM EST. As basement dwellers in the West Division, B.C. might look like an easy fade target with their 2-4 record, but don’t sleep on these Lions. The Leos have played just two games at home this season and won them both. B.C. Place is a barn where good teams go to die regardless of what form the hosts may be in, which makes the Lions a solid bet on their home turf more often than not, especially when taking back points. The Leos went on the road and were not embarrassed by the Stampeders last week, which is more than we can say for most of the league. Covering an inflated number against undefeated Calgary last week has not had much market influence and therefore provides with a great opportunity to cash in on what we’re suggesting is a bad line.

On paper, the Edmonton Eskimos (5-2) might look like the only team that can give the mighty Stampeders a run for their money in the CFL’s loaded West Division, but we’re not buying what the Eskies are selling. After seven games, Edmonton has not yet played a CFL side with a winning record after racking up wins over Toronto (x2), Saskatchewan, Montreal and these B.C. Lions all of which are a combined 8-19. Winning and covering are also two very different beasts and while the Esks managed to help us cash a ticket last weekend against the Roughriders, if you watched that game you know that it was no easy winner. In fact, the Eskimos have flat out been a bad bet this season after failing to cover in back-to-back games with the Argos and losing outright to the Tiger-Cats as 6½-point home favorites. Asking a team with a defense as porous as this one to spot points on the road is a tall order and a bet we cannot recommend making. Edmonton is not a legit 5-2 team and a serious correction to its misleading record is forthcoming.  Edmonton is a highly flawed team that will be exposed as such sooner rather than later and if B.C. can clean up the penalties, there should be plenty for the home crowd to celebrate. Lions outright is the play.

PLEASE NOTE: One of the unique things about our website is that we provide write-ups every single day on every game we post. We’re not sure if everyone understands how time consuming that is and how difficult it is as well but if you do not, please try it one day and you’ll see.

That said, we’re not going to change that. We’ll have write-ups every single day like we always do but we’re also going to have another feature. You see, we post our games usually in the early afternoon or before 1:00 PM EST but there is a lot of movement and other intangibles that occur throughout the day that has influence on what we’re betting. Usually after 6:00 PM EST or thereabouts, we’re going to be adding other games that we’re betting on in a section called “add-ons” for today that we ARE NOT going to write up because it’s too time consuming and with an hour or less before the first game goes off, we just won’t have the time.

This is a feature that you will see on our home page with the other wagers and we’ll also tweet it out when our add-ons have been posted.
