4:00 PM EST. The Tiger-Cats have been the most talked about team in the CFL since the rumor started to swirl that they were looking to bring in ex-NCAA star Johnny Manziel to Hamilton. The polarizing pivot did indeed make his way to the Steel City, but he did not play a single down of football once the regular season started. It’s not like starter Jeremiah Masoli has been lighting it up either. Masoli has just four touchdowns to his five interceptions thrown this season. A nice run of 300+ yard games came to an end last week, but if one can hit paydirt, do those superficial stats really matter? Regardless, Masoli will not have Johnny Football peeking over his shoulder after the former Texas A&M quarterback was shipped to Montreal earlier this week. The Cats appear to have taken back a king’s ransom for Manziel after picking up a pair of big names in speedster Chris Williams and Canadian defensive end Jaamal Westerman in addition to a pair of first-round draft picks. Williams and Westerman are well known to CFL fans, but it can take time for new guys to fit in. This isn’t a video game and chemistry does matter. For this week, however, those two big names have surely stirred up some interest in the market, as the Tabbies have been getting the lion’s share of the action after this lined opened at -4 and had continued to climb.

The Redblacks are 3-2, but their stock is down after failing to cover at home against the lowly Lions last week. Ottawa linebacker Kyries Hebert took some of the attention away from his teammates, as he tried to pick a fight with the Tabbies off the field. Hebert said, “The city of Hamilton “stinks” (he’s not wrong), the Ti-Cats colors are ugly and I don’t like Masoli”. Ruffling a few feathers might be the perfect distraction, as Hebert seems to have annoyed the Hamilton QB and linebacker Simoni Lawrence, who Hebert also cracked on. On the field, the Redblacks still sport on of the best offenses in the league when they are clicking with Trevor Harris at quarterback and his top receiver Brad Sinopoli, who also happens to lead the league in catches. Harris led his team on the game-winning drive in the last minute of last week’s game and running back Willie Powell plunged into the endzone for the win. Powell has been a beast going back to the second half of last season and he has not slowed down in 2018. With the Redblacks being overshadowed by the Tiger-Cats again this week, we are able to take back an inflated number that is now even sweeter because of the market’s infatuation with Hamilton. This is a game the Redblacks can win outright but the points are too good to pass up on.

PLEASE NOTE: One of the unique things about our website is that we provide write-ups every single day on every game we post. We’re not sure if everyone understands how time consuming that is and how difficult it is as well but if you do not, please try it one day and you’ll see.

That said, we’re not going to change that. We’ll have write-ups every single day like we always do but we’re also going to have another feature. You see, we post our games usually in the early afternoon or before 1:00 PM EST but there is a lot of movement and other intangibles that occur throughout the day that has influence on what we’re betting. Usually after 6:00 PM EST or thereabouts, we’re going to be adding other games that we’re betting on in a section called “add-ons” for today that we ARE NOT going to write up because it’s too time consuming and with an hour or less before the first game goes off, we just won’t have the time.

This is a feature that you will see on our home page with the other wagers and we’ll also tweet it out when our add-ons have been posted.

Please note: We have leans posted daily on Twitter and you can follow us there for leans, possible late plays or any other info we might have to pass along.
